The Parting Glass

Sadly we have decided to call it a day. The blog will remain as archive to some of the great shows and music we’ve had the privilege to review.

During the past 4 years we’ve also had opportunity to contribute to several other publications including Fatea, Maverick, Hot Music Live  and Northern Sky, thanks for the adventure guys.

Made friends with some wondrous musicians, gig goers, fellow photographers and bloggers, our favourite the genre spanning Robb Powell at Band of Badgers and everything we had hoped to be.  To everyone “Out On The Road Tonight”, artist or fan – safe travels.

Rugby Bike Festival – 22 May

Event and then some as party started with Saturday night’s launch party and camping hosted by St.Thomas’s Cross Inn situated on the fringe of Rugby in village of Newton. Fifth (or depending on viewpoint first) stage providing space for classic rock performance from MC Pigs, V8 and Nottingham’s Gatecrasher.

Chris, one of two professional creative’s we spoke too allowing our use of their pictures.  Sterling images from depicting the bike ride into town along Hillmorton Road shortly after the calvacade left The Bell Inn to  work from around the town centre once all bikes had parked up before getting in the zone at main stage.
